Angela Woplin Named Finalist in 2025 Everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards
Congratulations to Angela Woplin from our Sunbury site
We’re proud to share that Angela Woplin, our Head of International Operations, has been named a finalist in the 2025 Everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards, taking place on 26th June.
Angela is up for the Freight Award, which recognises women who are making a real difference in the freight sector. Her leadership, drive, and focus on delivering smart, sustainable logistics solutions have earned her a well-deserved spot on this year’s shortlist.
“I’m incredibly honoured to be named a finalist for the Everywoman Freight Leader Award,” said Angela. “it’s a reflection not only to the progress we’re making in freight and logistics but also to the incredible teams and mentors who have supported me along the way. I’m very proud to stand alongside such inspiring women driving change in our industry.”
The Everywoman Awards celebrate the contribution of women across the industry, from rising stars to experienced leaders. The awards aim to shine a light on the people helping shape the future of transport and logistics.
“It’s been a real pleasure to watch Angela progress into her role over the last 12 months,” said Adam Buchan, Divisional Manager. “Angela’s leadership has not only elevated her own performance, but has also inspired, supported and connected a strong team around her. Being named a finalist is a well-deserved recognition of the impact Angela is having on both our people and our customers, as well as the direction she’s taking the department.”
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 26th June, and we’ll be cheering Angela on as she joins an inspiring group of finalists from across the UK.
Angela’s nomination is a great reminder of what creating a workplace where talent can thrive can lead to.
Angela will be attending Multimodal on Wednesday 18th June to discuss any of your international queries.
