Howard Tenens are leading the industry in low carbon transport. Having completed successful trials with dual fuel (gas/diesel) vehicles, we have rolled this out across our HGV fleet.



Howard Tenens has been working on transport carbon saving initiatives for some time:

• 2004 : Focus on fuel efficiency
• 2005 : DPS route optimisation
• 2006 : Focus on reducing empty running
• 2007 : DriveCam implemented
• 2008 : Tenens Environmental formed
• 2009 : Dual fuel (gas/diesel) trial and introduction of double deck trailers and telematics
• 2010 : Roll-out of dual fuel across the HGV fleet

Howard Tenens owns and manages its own vehicle fleet of 150 tractor units, rigids and vans. The majority of our vehicles are less than 3 years old ensuring reliability and safety which is paramount within the supply chain.

Our strategically located business partners and platforms throughout the UK mean we can achieve nationwide coverage within 24 hours.
