Howard Tenens Sponsors Stratton Juniors Under 8s

Howard Tenens is delighted to sponsor the Stratton Juniors Under 8s Football Team who play in the North Wiltshire Football League . This team train near Howard Tenens’ Stratton St. Margaret depot in Swindon, twice a week and are managed by one of the employees from Honda Logistics, Barry Palmer and another father of one of the boys, Mark Butcher.
Barry and Mark give up much of their free time to dedicate their coaching skills to the young players; Barry says, “The club provides an important sporting focus for the players as well as nurturing their team building skills. Having the support of Howard Tenens has meant that we have been able to buy complete new kits for the team which gives the players a sense of pride in their club.” Barry and Mark are delighted to report that the team have had a good start to the season, winning ten games of the eleven they have played so far.
Stratton Juniors Football Club was established in the 1992 and over the years nearly 1000 youngsters have been through the club, some starting at 6 years and playing through to 18 years old. Like a lot of local organisations the club is run by a group of dedicated volunteers giving up a great deal of time to ensure that the club flourishes.
Two years ago the club achieved the FA Chartered Standard Award; this means that the club is now recognised by the FA as a club that adheres to the principles laid down by the Football Association, and ensures that best practice prevails in terms of standards of coaching, administration and child protection for all clubs outside the Football League and Premier League.
