As an environmentally responsible company we aim to minimise the impact of our operations on the environment, we accomplish this by various initiatives detailed below: Fuel use reduction by constant monitoring of each vehicle and drivers performance ¢Driver training completed by SAFED trained driving instructors in order to envelop a safe and economical driving style ¢The vehicle wash recycle up to 80% of all water used, and cleans all water by way of filtration and appropriate cleansing liquids ¢All water not captured by the vehicle wash flows into an approved interceptor, the contents of which is cleaned out and disposed of periodically by a legislative approved method ¢The fuel tank are correctly bunded in order to minimise the risk of a major fuel spill ¢The fuel pump has an interceptor fitted to capture any spills caused when re-fuelling. The interceptor is pumped out and disposed of periodically by a legislative approved method ¢All employees are trained in aspects of power reduction.  i.e. “Turn it off when not in use” ¢Drivecam system fitted to road vehicles ensures operation of vehicle is considerate and not wasteful ¢Our local purchasing considers the environmental impact of new suppliers or new products ¢We have an on site waste management centre which separates waste streams and prioritises recycling where possible ¢All night delivery equipment is reviewed for quiet operation ¢All vehicles reversing alarms are disabled during unsociable hours in order to reduce the noise pollution emitted
