Environmental Strategy

In 2008 Howard Tenens set up a separate company within the Group - Tenens Environmental - to provide a sustainable logistics service and develop initiatives to reduce the carbon footprint of storing and distributing our customers' products.

We take our responsibility towards the environment seriously. Tenens Environmental not only explores ways to reduce fuel and energy consumption, but also increases recycling and recovery of waste to add value in environmental performance for our customers. 

Furthermore we are continually reviewing ways to become more efficient in everything from route planning and vehicle loading to alternative fuels and truck modifications. Rail transport and shipping management services have also been expanded.

This means Tenens Environmental can proactively find ways to help customers realise their own corporate environmental ambitions.
